Itinerary:
DAY 1: HA GIANG – QUAN BA – NAM DAM
Morning:
The tour guide will take you to have breakfast then will guide you to the must-to-visit attractions from Ha Giang to Dong Van.
- Bac Sum slope – an 8 km long slope.
- Quan Ba – Heaven Gate, Co Tien Mountain (or Quan Ba Twins Mountain).
- Lonely Tree – Can Ty.
At noon: Having lunch at Quan Ba.
Afternoon: Moving to Nam Dam community cultural tourism village, checking-in room. Then, you can learn the culture and experiences about the life of the Dao people.
- Walking around the village, visiting the museum and hearing about how the Dao people make their homes and their traditional cultures.
- Having a herb bath of the Dao people
- Cooking with the local person: Joining the local people in the kitchen to prepare specialties here from homegrown foods.
Evening: Enjoying a dinner with a family, having a cultural exchange with the local person. Then sleeping at the homestay in Nam Dam.
DAY 2: NAM DAM – YEN MINH – LUNG CU – DONG VAN
Morning: Having a breakfast at the homestay. You will stop at some spots below:
- The Lonely Tree – Can Ty, Quan Ba
- The Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Lao va Chai
At noon: Having a lunch at Pho Cao.
Afternoon: You will stop at some spots:
- Chin Khoanh slope : We can take some photos at the famous long-standing slope in Ha Giang.
- Lung Cam Cultural Village: This is the village selected to film famous dramas such as: Pao’s Story (Chuyen cua Pao) ,Lang yen duoi vuc sau . Visit Pao’s house, take photos of seasonal flowers that are considered the most beautiful village of Dong Van Rock Plateau.
- The Vuong House: The house is called the King of the Hmong people. You can learn about the art, the architecture, the history and the culture of the Vuong family (the Meo King family) also the culture of the Mong people in Dong Van then we will continue to move to the Dong Van town.
- Lung Cu Flagpole: The destination is Lung Cu Flagpole – the northernmost point of the country that everyone wants to visit once in their life. You can learn about the cultural history of the land and the process of building the flagpole as well as the process of keeping every inch of land of the Ha Giang ethnic people.
Evening: We will check in at the hotel/homestay. Then we will have a dinner and take around Dong Van old town. Lastly, we will come back to the hotel/homestay to have a sleep.
DAY 3: DONG VAN – NHO QUE RIVER – MA PI LENG – DU GIA
Morning: Having breakfast, then you will start the journey to discover Dong Van to Du Gia village.
- Dong Van Market: You can go for walk around Dong Van ancient town, Dong Van ancient market with hundreds of years, then you will visit to Dong Van market to learn about the highland market culture. (only every weekends).
- Tham Ma slope: Also known as “Dốc thẩm định ngựa” is located in the alley of Dong Van district. The slope is very famous for tourists when you come to Ha Giang.
- Ma Pi Leng Pass: (The place is known as the first majestic landscape of Vietnam), the most beautiful and majestic in the “Four Great Passes of the North”. The 21 km long pass connects 2 districts of Dong Van and Meo Vac.
- Tu San canyon – Nho Que River: Getting on a boat on Tu San canyon – Nho Que River. Nho Que River flows into Vietnam from Seo Lung village, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, passes through Tu San gorge, then flows along Ma Pi Leng pass, when it reaches Meo Vac, it flows east into Cao Bang territory. into the Gam River. Tu San Canyon is considered the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia and is located in a valley with unique geological tectonics in Vietnam.
At noon: Having lunch at Meo Vac Afternoon: Continuing the journey to Ban Tien Du Gia. We will stop some spots:
- M bend: One of the Ha Giang’s impressive and beautiful bends
- The second Ma Pi Leng: From the location of Lung Ho Heaven Gate, running down to Du Gia about 15km, the pass has the same shape as Ma Pi Leng pass- one side is the abyss and the river, the other side is the pass. It looks like majestic like Ma Pi Leng pass.
- Ban Tien – Du Gia village: is a cultural space of the Tay people, with the rustic and natural beauty of the mountains.
Evening: Checking-in at your hotel/homestay, enjoying the evening at Du Gia homestay with local specialties. Then you can have cultural exchange with locals by the fire of the Tay people.
DAY 4: DU GIA – LUNG TAM – HA GIANG – HA NOI
Morning: Having breakfast at Homestay, then starting the journey to explore the rest of the tour.
Lung Tam Linen Weaving Village: Learning about the linen weaving culture of the Mong people as well as experiencing 41 stages to create products. You can wear traditional costumes, take some photos.
At noon: Having lunch at Quan Ba and departing for Ha Giang.
Evening: Returning to Ha Giang city. Then being back to Ha Noi.
Ending up the tour.
