Itinerary:

This 1 day SAIGON JEEP TOUR TO CU CHI TUNNELS AND AROUND DOWNTOWN

Your army Jeep and guide will meet you at hotel and take a drive for 2 hours to Cu Chi Tunnels. After first hour, you will turn into small roads running through towns, schools, markets, rubber farms.

Upon arrival, you will watch a short introductory video about land, people of Cu Chi during the war. This gives you the answers for many questions not only about Cu Chi but Vietnam in general. Visit various mantraps, the remains of an American tank and numerous bomb craters; you even can explore the tunnels by yourself to have the feeling of living underground. (If you like to try out war-era guns, check it out at shooting range at own expense).

Leaving Cu Chi Tunnels, you will visit Mr. Mushroom’s farm & restaurant. Mr. Mushroom is a chef, vegetation, traditional medicine and mushroom expert. Talk and share with him his passion of agriculture. He will then escort you to visit his farm with clear explanation about what he has been doing. After the farm tour, enjoy your meal with fresh ingredients picked from his farm.

Get back to Saigon, you will start city tour visiting the major attraction sites.

You visit the must-see sites in Saigon. They are: Re-Unification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam, hear the stories about Saigon Government and the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975; Central Post Office, a classic French colonial structure, is still a functioning post office today and features huge ceilings, a giant portrait of Hochiminh, and many beautiful details; Notre Dame Cathedral built between 1877 and 1883, Saigon’s Vietnam, one of the city’s major landmarks and the War Remnants Museum, which contains countless artifacts and photographs graphically representing the war and its devastating impacts. Neo-Romanesque  Notre Dame Cathedral is a major centre of Catholicism in modern.

Trip ends at your hotel.
