Day 1: Hanoi Motorbike Tour to Mai Chau, Cuc Phuong, Tam Coc : Ha Noi Motorbike Tours to Mai Chau Valley (160Km/4 hours) (L/D)

We start our motorbike tour from the office at 8:30am. About after 30 minutes, we’ll ride our bikes along the dike of Red River to get out of Ha Noi city. Wind our way to Hoa Binh town, on the way we will be making our own way through the villages and valleys of Ha Tay and Hoa Binh province. We stop for lunch in Hoa Binh town, visit the Hydro-power plant and continue hitting the roads up hills to the Kun pass and onto nice roads offering spectacular views over the valleys and mountains.

Arrive in Mai Chau by afternoon, time to explore before overnighting in a traditional Thai stilt houses. Mai Chau is located on a flat valley & surrounded by high limestone mountain ranges with forests. Here, that is a home to Thai Hilltribes who are used to living in the houses on stilts.

Ha Noi Motorbike Tours to Mai Chau Valley

Mai Chau is a rural district located in the Northwest region of Vietnam, approximately 140 km from Hanoi, and is part of the Hoa Binh Province. It is nestled in a peaceful valley sheltered by the outside world by a dramatic ring of hills. It’s a serene, relaxing rural idyll, and the vivid green paddy fields will match your picture postcard fantasies of the Vietnamese countryside. The Mai Chau Valley is dominated by rice paddies and small villages and enclosed by mountains. Sitting outdoors looking at the mountains covering, breathing fresh air from nature, ones can just unwind in a serene and peaceful environment, or easily meet local people and be invited to drink Mai Ha wine with family or friends.

After having the dinner at the local family, you’ll have a chance to enjoy a very interesting and special music dancing performance made by young boys & girls in this village meanwhile tasting their traditional jar-wine.

Day 2: Hanoi Motorbike Tour to Mai Chau, Cuc Phuong, Tam Coc : Mai Chau Motorcycle Tours to Cuc Phuong National Park (170 Km/5 hours)(B/L/D)

After breakfast we continue on the main Mai Chau road heading South. A long drive today but, soon we’ll be enjoying the wonderful sightseeing along the narrrow road through valley of this vast limestone mountain range, it brings on the feeling of adventure whilst being lost in a magic land, passing some villages and meeting some minority people along the way. Have lunch at local restaurant before joining the Ho Chi Minh trail. Arrive in Cuc Phuong National Park by afternoon. After we’ve become acquainted with our overnight accomodation, there’ll be plenty of time to explore the local area.

Day 3: Hanoi Motorbike Tour to Mai Chau, Cuc Phuong, Tam Coc : Cuc Phuong Motorbike Tours to Ninh Binh (60 Km/1.5 hours)(B/L/D)

Cuc Phuong is the oldest national park in Vietnam. Located only 120km southwest of Hanoi and nestled between the provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa, Cuc Phuong boasts an engaging cultural and wildlife heritage and enchanting scenery. Magnificent Limestone Mountains rise up majestically from the green rice-terraces and traditional stilt houses of the Muong hill-tribe.
Covered in a dense forest, this landscape forms the habitat for some of Asia’s rarest animal and plant species. It is no wonder that researchers, naturalists, enthusiasts and conservationists alike are drawn to this corner of the world. The ancient forest harbours over 2234 vascular and non-vascular plants, 122 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 135 mammals, including the Clouded Leopard, Delacour’s Langur, Owston’s Civet and Asian Black Bear. There are also an incredible 308 documented bird species.

Cuc Phuong Motorbike Tours to Ninh Binh
Today, first of all, we visit the Primate Rescue center, butterfly museum, lookout, and then we ride through Cuc Phuong forest to the park center, a short break then trek for 3 hours to the Tetrameles nudiflora (Sequoia) 1,000 year old tree. Then we, jump on our bikes for a ride around the park, pass by the local ferry and on into Ninh Binh town.
Overnight in hotel.

Day 4 : Hanoi Motorbike Tour to Mai Chau, Cuc Phuong, Tam Coc : Ninh Binh Motorbike Tours back to Ha Noi (110 Km/3 hours)(B/L)

Today we ride to Tam Coc/Thungang cave for a 3 hour boat trip to “Ha Long bay on land”.

Later on, we will have lunch at the riverside restaurant, before riding through villages, by the river, rocks, rice fields, and temples to Hoa Lu where we will visit the “Ancient capital city of Hoa Lu”. Hit our road towards Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around 6:00pm.
