Itinerary:

Leaving Hue city in early morning, you will drive to the DMZ, an area of 5-km trip set alongKhe Sanh Combat Base 239x200 - HUE JEEP TOUR TO DMZ, KHE SANH, VINH MOC TUNNEL     the two sides of Ben Hai River. It was bombed into a desolate wasteland, riddled with land mines and surrounded by barbed wire during the war.

Here you see the famous Hien Luong Bridge, served as border gates to the both sides. From 1954 to 1972, when the North Vietnamese Army pushed the border further south, the bridge was painted with the two different colors. A monument stands on the north side of the bridge.

You then drive to Vinh Moc Tunnels, which was constructed by the Vinh Moc Villagers as an underground village to shelter from the American bombardments. The underground network consists of three layers starting at a depth of 33ft (10m).

You then move to Khe Sanh Marine Base to visit the museum at Ta Con former US airbase whKHe Sanh marker - HUE JEEP TOUR TO DMZ, KHE SANH, VINH MOC TUNNELere features a small, but surprisingly effective displays of photos, dioramas, and artifacts from combatants on both sides of the war. Listen to the stories about this historical site that you may not find in any documentary to have more understanding about what really happened there in the past.

Drive back to your hotel in late afternoon, trip ends at hotel.
